The fabricating division of Nordholm Companies built a full set of fish crowders, traps, and brail hoists for a new installation at Wells Hatchery. The fabrication required considerable redesign and sophisticated fabrication skills to avoid producing equipment that would not harm fish and to ensure long-lasting equipment operating in a marine environment with many cycles between wet and dry. The project was finished well ahead of schedule, even though our scope substantially increased.
